Nice shooting indeed :4:
Sam,
Nice shooting. Is that a FFP scope? Have you ever had the metal HST adjuster back out on its own after shooting for awhile?
Derrick
There is something about shooting a 177, my feeling is everyone should at least try a high end 177. Uses less air, less sound and if you miss your target most likely there will be little to no damage. Mine gets 75 shots on a 230 bar fill at 18.5 fpe. It takes weeks before my 88 cu ft tank needs a refill. I never shot a Mutant but I know I would not trade the 177 compact for a 22 mutant.
Greg I picked up one of the skeleton stocks from Charlie because mine was all dinged up from years of use. If your on the fence get one this will probably be the last of the skeletons.

Both great guns in their own rights IMO …….. thing is with the 177 is if the wind starts kicking it’s easily gets pushed around.
Agree with trying/owning a high end 177 cal, it’s a great way to horning in on ALL the skills of shooting !

A Cricket Compact 177 and a Mutant Shorty 22.

Thing is for me I need and like them both calibers (177 & 22) but …. …. .
If I where to start all over again new I would go for a Veteran, but not offered yet in 177 cal.
Just don’t know if it will compare in accuracy of a well seasoned Cricket Compact 177, like a laser it is yes Sir !!

I recall, you said you had your pension funds split in different pies,
the “Bullpup Pie” must be one of them  :8:
Nice looking guns, I noticed you had a laser light on the Mutant, What’s the secret to aiming them, I know for short range but the cheap ones I have just do not sight in? Maybe I need to spend more than 30 bucks?
Mike
I’ve internally hack many cheapies Mike …… but just shimming them seems easier to do.

Thanks guys. Airbrained yes I am the guy with the air wolf. The 177 cricket compact is the perfect backyard gun. Most of the 177’s compacts I have read about are lasers. If Charlie says its accurate(he tests every gun at 40 yards before selling) you will not be disappointed.

Hey Pippo ………. I have both.

I don’t own one of the newer bullpubs (Vulcan, Mutant, Veteran, etc) but the last one I owned was a Cricket Compact and it was the finest laser beam I ever had.
I would highly recommend to get one as long as you can but I don’t know how it compares in real life to the Mutant Shorty which gets also fantastic reviews.
Those lucky ones owning both could help you taking the right decision (which I would be curious to know as well 😀 )
Great shooting Sam. Are you the guy with the .177 Airwolf? If so I saw that video too and that was some great shooting also. If I’m mistaking you for someone else I apologize. I’ve been so tempted to buy a Compact Cricket but there getting harder and harder to find. I know Charlie from Georgia Aiguns has a brand new Kalibrgun Cricket Compact .177 for sale right now and he says it’s going to be the last one produced which is kind of crazy considering how much people love them.

The Cricket .25 is really one of my favorite guns. So accurate and simple. Nice shooting there.
