75 yard group with Condor
43 grn. Eun Jins, the 1st shot was high left, the second was a couple of inches low and is the far right shot, so I turned the scope up a few clicks and used my 2nd shot as the target, I thought I only shot 5 times, but looks to be 6 holes, so 6 shot group measures 2 inches.

RC, why not try some sort of sorting those pellets?
You will be amazed how they can roll into big groups and then the occasional few may go straight off the end of the clipboard or roll in a tight loop and stay on the board.
Here’s just one example:
1st, I fucked up on the energy level of that setting, 900 with the 42 grain EJ. is not 85 FPE, 950FPS would equal 85 FPE, but 900 FPS only yeilds 75 FPE.
2nd, This morning I tried once again different hammers and springs, no difference in accuracy than before while chasing that elusive higher velocity.
Then I tried going down in velocity, as per Maws advice.

At 860 FPS, they went into 1/2 inch for 5 shots @ 35 yards, again that was with the usual flyer, 4 of them actually went into .26.
The next 3 shots while zeroing, it shoots to the right and high compared to the kings, went into .75.
That is only 65 FPE, but it is a vast improvement.

I have found out if I slow them down to 840 or slower, my groups are somewhat better, give er a try it may work cause of the point. I too have a had time shootin these bastards.
85fpe at 35 yards with 1″ group – you’ll kill anything at that range without question. That’s great shooting.

This is what my rifle does with the 42 grainers at 35 yards.
They are all 5 shot groups, and usually I will have 4 out of 5 that are .85, then the group with the flyer end up at 1.15 average.
They were going an average of 900 FPS for 85 FPE.
At the same range Kings at 1030 will group into 1/2 inch or better.

And these are real 75 yard groups I might add. and you still can tighten them up with practice..

I was using a fence post for steadfast, nothing serious, sitting on big hard rocks also, and probably a 10 mile wind from left to right, my gun is finally starting to lead up a little so I,m hoping she may start to improve some in the future, maybe I have some lead ball around here I can shoot, get the grafite in there. I really believe I polished my barrel to much and the pellets are a little sloppy, but as tight as Eun Jins are, I can’t see how a little slop could make a difference.
That’s great for an airgun… a 22LR would have a run for it’s money.

Ya I found it strange shooting the tank down and the damn things started shooting next to each other, thanks for the back-up R.C. I thought it might be something else.
