Should be good for around 12FPE with my little 12″ barrel then. Spoke to gunpower today, 80 quid for the co2 adaptor 😯
That looks like it to me. I am sure you will get it for less on ebay. I will see if I can find a link for you later tonight.
I got the regulator off causing very little damage to it so all is good.
I did a test shot and got 14.5 fpe so its gonna be close to 700psi.

The bottle and regulator arrived today with some crap about the regulator being lock ighted into the bottle. give me a day i will have it out…
as for the connector it is the female foster as posted in your ‘general section’ post. one member even added a photo of it with a cable tie around it.
I tried to get a high flow valve off gunpower but they wanted an FAC number 😆 Anyway I’ve got enough valves here so will see If they will just sell the co2 adaptor and hopefully get It cheaper 😉 I’ll get a post up on the forum now to see what the paintaball fill valve Is called and yup, Let me know when you have It 😉
Depending what power you want and the setup you have 850psi will put you right over the limit. I am getting 14.9fpe with 700psi on a 24 inch barrel with 21.4gr pellets.
The Co2 adaptor comes with a high flow valve fitted which is a nice touch…and I think it set me back £60 but I could be wrong.
I do not know the name of the connector to fill the bottle but it is a standard fitting for all paintball setups so easilly found. There is no option to fill with the stealth adaptor.

Thanks Brutus, Sounds good to me. When you get It let me know and I’ll PM you my addy. What type of connection Is used to fill the HPA bottles? I’m guessing you can’t fill as normal through the stealth valve as the reg won’t let air back through.
How much was your co2 adaptor from gunpower and what does It consist of? Looking at It here It comes with a valve too??

I don’t think there’s a paintball shop near me but I’ve been checking that seller on ebay and they have the 0.8L bottle, 3000 psi with a 850 psi reg for 44.50.

I’ll get In touch with the seller and ask about the output pressure of the reg on the other bottle and get the dimesnsions for the 800cc bottle. Keep me posted on your spare reg 😉
I believe that the output pressure of the regulator on its way to me is 800psi but until it arrives i can be sure.
you can try it out for free and if it works for you its yours for £5.
as for buying a hap tank in the uk get in contact with your nearest paintball shop. So far thesmallest tank i have found for hpa is 48cl but i have not looked that hard.
i do not think these regulators will fit into the standard gunpower bottles. anagin this is somthing i will try when the regulator arrives.

Is there anywhere In the UK that sells HPA tanks too, 48CI or less? I’m guessing I couldn’t use the reg on the stock airforce bottle?

Filling the bottle is easy. There is a filling conector on the side of the bottle just below the regulator.
As for shots per fill it remains regulated until you get the bottle pressure to the same pressure as the regulator.
The valve on the setup shows the pressure in the bottle.
You will not need any more then you already have to use a regulator with you bottle and rifle.
I have just sourced a bottle with regulator. I have not need for the regulator so if you fancy trying it out let me know.
Thanks for the pics mate, really helpfull. Does that gauge tell you what the regs running at or what’s left In the bottle? I think i’ve confused you as I’m not running a reg on my rifle just interested In perhaps getting one. How do you fill the tank when running the reg? Even when I fill to 160 I notice an increase In power and then It drops again at 150 bar. I was hoping to try with a spacer took out today but had a tank dump so that was a no go. I’m guessing with a reg It will be consistant all the way from a 200bar fill right down to what you say, 1000psi?
If that’s the case then I’ll be looking In to It further. Only thing that bothers me Is the tank sizes. 48 CI Is around 786 CC. Plenty of shots but abit too big for me really and the power I run. The next size down Is 22 CI but that’s only 360 CC so there doesn’t seem to be a middle size – something around 30 CI or 500cc I’d like. The 22 CI Is more expensive than the bigger tank too 😕
I’m still tempted to just try the bigger regd tank and see how I get on as your getting a 786CC bottle regd for about 50 quid. I paid more than that for my 800cc bottle. Can you remember how much shipping was on yours from HPA experts and Is there anything else I’ll need apart from the gunpower CO2 adaptor, I wouldn’t of thought that would be too expensive??
I can see what you mean about having the rail riser too now. I have my scope on low mounts and the objective lens Is only just off the rifle so will definately need something taller. Some sweet accuracy your getting too, I’m hoping for something similar when I finish tinkering 😆
Here are a few pics taken just now with my mobile phone so not up too much.
the setup I have really is much the same as yours only I have had no problem with consistency right down to 1000ps I don’t like going much lower than that as it takes a life time to pump up again.
The regulator will always be 800psi despite what I do to the TH, spring or barrel length, however, I would have thought that you would get different results with different set ups, such as a stronger spring or heavier hammer as the valve will be opened quicker and further allowing the 800psi of air to escape quicker and giving a different reading.
I would recommend that a bottle is taken from the 3000psi down to the regulator limit to see if the figures change much. If they do then I would say that your spring and hammer are not strong or heavy enough to open the valve fully at higher pressure.
Once you can go from 3000psi to the regulator limit with consistent figures your set up is perfect.
What are you regulated to? If its 800psi and you’re having inconsistent shots as soon as 150 bar I would contact Blod Nob for one of his springs. The other option is that your regulator is not working fully.
Accuracy wise I took a shot at 25 yards at a piece of wood. I then took another shot that pellet and hit it first time. I love this Rifle, even at 12FPE it rules.
Cheers mate. Any pics of your set up with the reg on? I’d rather not raise the scope as I’ve a 50mm objective lens and when broken down only just fits In the laptop carry case. Still something to think about as I’m not getting much consistency when filling higher than 150 bar!
I take It that the reg will keep the power constant all the time no matter If you try to increase spring tension, hammer weight etc? Is altering the output pressure of the reg something that I would eb able to do at home?

I am not someone that can make something of numbers but i would have thought that if you get a start point of 600psi with the option to increase the power out to 800pis (with shime) you will be fine with a 24″ all the way down to a 12″ barrel.
As for tanks i am sticking with the 48cl as i will not have to pump it very often. i would say the tank is good for almost 500 regulated shots at about 600psi.
you will need to get one of these to raise your scope a bit though.
