Q:

915fps 18grains Talon SS lol

Hi folks! Last week i change the inner pieces of my TalonSS Micro-Tac valve, for the Condor Hi-flo ones…

1015fps with Crosman Premier Hollow Point and 915fps with 18grains JSB´s

Shoot count, 30 good shoots,
Power Wheel 8-6
TopHat Gap .118″ (3mm)
Hammer weight .23lb (105grams)
Hammer Spring 20/25% harder (same lenght and diameter, I just ask for a spring maker)

Yesterday i change my scope from this BSA 8-32×40 sweet 22 to a Leapers 4-16x50AO on a AccuShot Mono mount (high profile)

Hi pop, no, i’m using a 24″ barrel, i get more efficient use of air

is that using the stock 12″ barrel? if not what barrel are you using? I just got a Talon SS and I’m looking forwarad to seeing what kind of performance i can get from it with the stock Barrel. I definitely want to upgrade the valve.

Yesterday at the range we measure the TalonSS with a new .22 barrel…

From 4-10 in the power weel it goes supersonic with Kodiaks and 3-5 with 18 grains JSB’s

So I decide using it at 4-6 and get 1050fps with 21grains… Accuracy… < 1″ at 60yd

Donde conseguiste esa valvula??? gracias!

Someone please translate my answer. Tks!

😀 😆 There ya go! 😀 More light! Woo-Hoo!!! 😀 😉

😳 dah….that field of view comment was my first mistake this year. I only made one mistake last year but then again I may be going on two already this year 😆

What I meant was that my older 50 mm objective scope seems to gather more light.
But, I have been corrected before. 😳

Yeap! Crosmans doesnt´n likes this velocity at all, hits in 2″ or even 3″ at 55Yd…

I didn´t said nothing about Field of view 😉

Leapers optics are much more clear than BSA… 😀

1015FPS a little too hot for the Crossmans for longer range accuracy, but 915 is perfect for the JSB’s. 😉

Width of field of view has nothing to do with the size of the objective lens. It is the job of the ocular lens to set the dimensions of the field of view.
Objective lens (one at the front) 😆 Ocular lens, Eye piece. 😉

What you are are seeing in this case is the difference in the quality of the optics. Neither really good, but one is better than the other.

Wow, a lot of positive changes ❗

I bet it seems like a different rifle. How’s that scope doing ❓
I liked the 50mm objective lens on my old scope better than a 40.
The 50 just gave a broader view IMO.
How is it grouping so far ❓
What distance do you shoot at ❓
Or are you hunting ❓

Well… 😉 i´ve won the geat prize YES! and whife is 41YO! (i´m 49) but who cares…

the BSA suffers a lot of Cromatic Disturbance and Aespheric Distortion at máximum magnification.

This is a “Right Now picture” (3:30AM)

At 55Yd (50Mts JSB´s Exacts Heavy hits in 1/2″ to 1″ according to wind variations. but you can said… 1″ in all conditions, nothing bad for a 12″ barrell.

Our trees around here are between 60´ to 150´ with angled shots… 200´ maximum (60Mts) It´s zeroed ar 48.1Mts and the Green Laser it´s at 31Mts

i shoot doves, we have big ones around here, this picture is for a friend with his Talon

and this is one Hare (liebre), hunted by other friend.
