Q:

9mm shin sung, stuck, help

I went to shoot my 9mm Shin Sung, the other day, and apparently it froze up, all I get is the hammer hit like the gun is empty. I sprayed it as much as much as I could with some dry silicone and no luck. So I’m asking anyone about disassembely, like what kind of tools I must have to take this thing apart, and be done with it. Any help is appreciated. Michael Watson

WOW, it’s holding air

Ok got to shoot it, shoots JSB’s nice, leaked about 1/2 the air last night, but wasn’t empty, so we will see if shooting it makes it any better.

Update ran some pellgun oil thru it, now it is sealing again, we see what happens tomorrow, haven’t, shot this gun for 6 or 7 years, wanted to try some pellets. one day, now this shiiittt ho-ho.

Whoops, thought I had it all sealed off yesterday, but now it’s leaking through the receiver area. Any one know how to fix that?

Ok update, I took it apart, and finally got it to take air, then it was leaking out gauge, so I took the top off, and gauge out ,took that apart, and found alittle o-ring, so I reaplaced that, and walla, working again. Thank You all!! Michael

Thanks Rj Porter.

It’s the check valve. Those guns have been known to have oring problems at the muzzle end of the gun. Mine started leaking 3 days after purchase

Now I am thinking the gun is empty, I took off fill valve and stuck a wire down the air port, and can feel something spring loaded, yet the gun takes no air, I could try and freeze the gun, and see if it is indeed air lock. I wonder what this spring loaded object is on the other side of the fill port.

Oh yes ,right his 7mm rebuild. Thanks Riporter

By the way tofazfou has a YouTube video on complete disassemble of the gun.

How much air is in it? Sounds like it’s valve locked.
