A.C.’s Crosman 2240 Up-Grades (pics)
This gun is very fun to shoot and very versatile as i’m sure most of you know. I’ve had the gun for a few years now and i mostly shoot it in my garage to keep me somewhat sharp for my PB pistols. The first thing i did a while back was to take it to MAC-1 to get him to replace a few o-rings and to do a basic accuracy package. I then later bought some nice grips from MAC-1 but i also wanted a longer barrel. I would later and more recently purchase a 14″/.22 Crosman barrel from Mac-1. With the addition of the 14″ barrel, the guns velocity went from 460 FPS with 14.3 gr CP’s to the NOW 545 FPS with 15.9 gr JSB’s. And if any of you either know TIM or some of your guns have any work done by him, you know he does a VERY NICE JOB which i’m sure doesn’t need to be said.
After getting my gun up to date (sorta), there still was a certain look to my gun that i wanted now. I still somewhat wanted it to keep it’s pistol look but, i kinda wanted it to also have that rifle like appearance. Hope that makes sense. Well, long story short, i literally stumbled upon Alejandro’s (A.C.) website and immediately, i found parts for my 2240 that would give my gun the look i wanted. After finding the exact parts i wanted, i contacted AC via email and asked him a few questions and he immediately responded to my emails and answered all my initial questions. AC quoted me a price for what i wanted and then told me when he could start on the parts and when he would be shipping them out. That’s more than what i expected. Once my parts were shipped, i immediately received a tracking number and then the wait began. After receiving my parts and opening them, it was very refreshing to see that AC provided very simple and easy to follow assembly instructions.
I know, I know, more PICS and less talking please..LOL.
