Q:

A Day For The Memory Bank.. Thank’s Tim

😀 😀 😀 , My two girls are awsome.
This weekend was husband appreciation day.
So sunday evening my Wife, kid and I Drove down south
got a hotel and was at Mac1 air guns bright and early monday.
I left my .20 early 80’s sheridan .177 mid 90’s dan and a bejamin
HB22 tim told me was a cool pistol. So I’m getting the rifles steroided.
The .20 with a peep sight and the .177 with machined scope rails. the pistol just a standard rebuild. I got to shoot his field target rifle, awsome.
It looks like a piece of ART work. Tim is a super nice guy. I stood there for hours and learnd more than I ever knew. I got a great surprise while I was there. Lou Ferrigno showd up with some rifles and I got to meet him.
I grew up watching Incredible HULK. I’m not much on famous people.
I gotta say he was a realy nice guy and took time to shake my hand and wish me good shooting. . I got to say though the best part of meeting the incredible Hulk was my 7 year old daughters reaction when we got home. I googled some pictures to show them how knarley strong he is. She told my wife, Why was dad excited he met that man, He look’s just like that. lol 😎 Oh man that melted my heart. I’m 5’7” and a 170lbs on a rainy day. So not only did I get to meet Tim and incredible hulk but my daughter thinks I’m a Hulk too 😀 😀 Awsome Monday morning
Thank you ,Amber,Jaida,Tim and lou.

sorry back yard, Tim is not don g .. or from the looks of liberty cap there he’ll be on the black list soon as well

Mod please lock this thread. Rule 16 section A-5. No talking about banned dealers.

😆 😆 😆

Sounds like a great day.

Lou Ferrigno into airguns?

Ya,

Lou has been into airguns for a long time. Not to long ago some of his Career airguns were for sale on the YF classifieds

Yeah tim is a cool guy I was there yesterday and filled my scuba tanks. He only yells at dumb people . He never yelled at me. And boy is he smart. And his dog loves catching a frzzbe. If u can throw it good.

Sounds like a great day.

Lou Ferrigno into airguns?

Cool experiance, meeting (good) celebrities… especially when unexpected and they turn out to be “just like us”.

I once met Roger Mcguin (from the ’60’s-70’s group.. “The Byrds”) on a Hertz bus…while waiting for it to go to the airport. We were the only ones on the bus, the driver was late, and we jokingly talked about general traveling pitfalls for 1/2 hour. Really great guy, wish I’d have thought to get an autographed guitar pick or something. He had his guitar with him.. and a ticket for a seat for it on the plane!! Wasn’t my plane though….. 🙁 🙁

Lou Ferrigno… cool… you should have had Tim yell at him so he would Hulk up and turn green and all… 😆 😆 😆 😆 🙄 🙄

Is he the guy that built some sort of air powered tennis ball lobber for his dog??? I recall seeing a video of it…

Someone here told me I look just like Tim.
If he sometimes yells at people, I might sound like him too.

Sounds like your ladies are class acts. Its truly gratifying to be honored in you own home, unlike so many friends I know.
My lady treats me right, so I return the favor as often as I can. Been working so far. 😉

Not to mention, his dog is a tennis ball retrieving machine
I am a few miles from his shop, been a while since I visited
Good guy for sure, ha, he would fit in fine here at the TAG

Tim is a great guy.

He is under a lot of stress being a one man shop. But he is an icon in the industry.

I have two USFT’s and love’em. Some people think they look ugly I think those folks are nuts. 😆 In some configurations they can be a bit on the heavy side but lighter options are available so there is a choice.

You’ll read some bad stuff about Tim on the Yellow about how he yells at people. Funny part is I called him a few times while I was waiting for my USFT to be made and he never yelled at me once. Guess it says more about the people who got yelled at than the one doing the yelling. 😉

The USFT is one finely designed (thanks LD) and manufactured in the USA (thanks TMac) field target/ benchrest rifle. I feel blessed to own such a great piece of engineering and always look forward to shooting it.

I haven’t met Tim in person but look forward to the day I do, LD as well.
