Q:

A few kind words about Tony (Toshik)

I purchased a 22 cal EDgun Matador from Tony (Toshik) a few days ago. I paid him on a Thursday evening and it was shipped the very next day. It was well boxed and I could not be happier. I just figured that it was time for me to give credit where credit is due! Tony even called me and he as nice a guy as a man could want to meet. I thought that he might be standoffish or maybe a man of few words. But he was quite opposite from that. Just a great guy. I usually don’t post threads of this nature…..but I was really impressed by my dealings with Tony (Toshik).
So, I just want to conclude my post by saying ‘Thank You’ to Tony for his professionalism. And I got a stunningly accurate 22 R3M in the deal.
Happy Shooting and best of wishes to all of you who are afflicted, as am I, with this airgun obsession.
Someday, I’ll own an R3M Matador 22 cal in Long version. That extra few inches of barrel should be a good thing. Squirrel season is three weeks away and I am happy to declare that the new 22 cal is sighted in and ready to knock some squirrel eyes out!
Again, thanks Toshik!!!!!

Will be shown soon.

Thank you, Kevin. I think you should try Leshiy this autumn, you will be happy I am sure 🙂

Kevin, congrats on your new Matador, of course they are very good and outstanding PCPs and the most comfortable and durable PCP for hunting trip …

if you want to drop down the velocity only do it with HST,,,plz don’t touch the Regulator,,, i have spent years with playing with my Matadors,,, i finally returned back to the same setting that Ed did for his guns ,,, so,,,only try with HST ,,don’t play with regs … unless it is very necessary …

Thank you for your kind words, Ed. A few words about my new Matador R3M Standard in 22 cal. So far, I have only used 18.1 grain and 15.9 grain Exacts and at 67 yards, I can shoot a clip and the result on the target is one very small (dime sized) group from either pellet. I am shooting the 18.1 grain at 955 fps. I haven’t chronographed the 15.9 Exacts but generally, they shoot around 40 fps faster than the 18.1 grain Exacts. When the pellet hits a Starling, it sounds like a balloon popping. I am 100% satisfied with the Matador. And my 25 cal Matador which I bought from Tony last year has functioned trouble-free the entire time.
I used to buy an airgun every week. Every brand. FX, Cricket, Weihrauch, Benjamin, Air Force Condor, etc etc etc but since buying my first EDgun, it is now the only PCP that I will buy. They are rugged and dependable. VERY easy to carry (I use a sling in the woods when hunting/stalking). I have a Burris Timberline 4.5x14x32mm scope mounted on my 22 cal Matador and it keeps the Matador balanced and easy to acquire quick aim. Heck, I’m just happy with it. My 22 cal Matador has the latest improvements……plastic magazines (much smoother), dust cap for fill port, and an improved breech where the pellet enters the bore. Keep up the great work Ed!!!!! signed: another happy customer. Kevin :smilen:

That is what I was talking about. When you need to get some information about something you should quite carefully take the information from forums, as that is human nature — to express out only when something is wrong, and consider that as due when everything is OK. Thus, coming back to the airguns — if I sell 1′ 000 guns and 990 client are satisfied, but 10 are not, for sure 8 of 10 will write to the forum they are not satisfied and only couple of 990 will write the are happy. So, reading forum one can catch the illusion that everything is bad.

So I am very happy that you have valued Tony as dealer and the gun and I do hope you will be completely satisfied with the gun.

So, don’t hesitate to write not only about the problems 🙂

Ed
