A Field Target Question ?
Anybody you know use a Condor in 177 caliber for Field Target ?
Is it accurate enough and consistent enough for being in the running at trophy time ?
We all know that the velocity is no problem, and it will throw the heavy 177 cal pellets with ease…..it is a matter of BC and trajectory that will determine how you do. A very heavy 177 cal pellet if it is accurate should have less wind drift and help out……BC of your pellet is very important.
I believe you have a range of 10-55 yds in Field Target ? Just wondering if folks have used this gun and won ?

I use shorter tank 360cc with altaros reg. They are not the most stable but i compensate the drop by chasing high fps. At the moment mine doing 1020 with 10.3gr. Not the best grouping but certainly its fun chasing point with the fwb boys. I use 24inch barrel to add extra weight in front. Regulator is a must when you compete in ft esp with scope height like afc. I have several setups. For multi range i use the above. Then i have one for 25m benchrest. And so on. Afc is just bare platform and you can pretty much tune it to ur liking. I have 4 afcs with 11 12 different barrels from .177 to .35.. from local to smooth twist, hw barrel etc2. Honestly i could have bought an ideal ft gun and much more but heck wheres the fun
I do also compete in multi range with cricket in standing position and hoping to do 3 pos one day once my knee allow me to do so.
Id say afc is a very capable n fun gun. Afterall its a hobby. Have some fun
