Q:

A heavier .25 King coming….

I emailed JSB concerning the need, IMO, for a heavier .25 with the King design. Here was their response:

Hi Derrick,

Thanks for your e-mails and questions.

I am sorry but this project is a little delayed because of some problems
with the semi-finished products. I hope to solve it soon so pellets are
available still this summer.

Thanks for your understanding.

Best regards,

Pavel

Subject: .25 Kings

Hello Again,
I have a .25 Cricket Carbine. This rifle is crying out for a heavier
version of the Kings. Please bring out a heavy in 32+ grain. Cheers.

Kind Regards,
Derrick Wall,

Great news Derrick!! Thanks for that, my Talon and even my cricket would love those, barracudas are nice but JSBs always been a favorite…wonder if they will be the new go-to .25 pellet like 16/18grain JSB .22s

Btw I wish I got that BSA off you, lucky son! 🙂

Knife,
Thank you sir. I love the design of the King. It is very accurate. A lot of the .25 PCP’s are at a point now that they can handle a heavier projectile than a 25.4 grainer. I have tried to push the current King at more fps to get a more fpe out of it, but accuracy begins to suffer. A Heavier King would be super good. BTW, noticed that you location is Central TX. I’m in Tomball just North of Houston.

Thanks for posting this! It will be a great addition t selection for this fantastic calibre. We have a LOT of .25 shooters here. Odd that no one has thanked you for your efforts. Seems things took a bit of a strange turn here a couple of months ago. I’m sure things will get back to as normal as they can soon.

I guess it will Never be quite the same here for the longer time members here.
