Q:

A John Hagan Question…

:hoot:

Question: Did John Hagan ever make a shroud for the Edgun???

I was told I once owned one. No I didn’t. (I don’t think I did…)

Wow, wish I could find an S&B for half price!

It sure is Mr Hoot, only problem is its gone green!! :confusedn:

Thanks Adamah, managed to pick it up second hand at better than half price!! Ret is the P4 Fine although I do like the ret in my old IOR scope I traded in, the MP08 is an awesome reticle.

Nice scope DVS, which reticle did you get?

:hoot:

I just checked your picture out again. WoW!!! You certainly have a huge “knob”….I’ll bet that bad boy is fun to grab and slam it “to and fro” a few times!!!

Kind regards,

Uncle Hoot:

Dvs, that’s a heart-warming picture. Squirrels are so peaceful when they’re… expired. That would make a fine greeting card.

So is that the Eastern Grey, invading the UK? Gad, hate to consider those things as agents of biological warfare. It took years of shooting every one I saw before we got to harvest peaches, pears, etc. The only things those rodents share are fleas and diseases.

Roach them!! Roach them all!! :angrymob:

sorry, it’s a conditioned response.

Dear STD,

How did you ever get them to line up like that for your shot????

I assume you aimed for the head of the lead “dancer”, and had enough fpe to take out the ninth guy! It’s obvious they were dancing the “Merengue” which is odd, given that you got them in the UK…a visiting dance troupe perhaps???

Hoot:

My dearest Hooting Owl, no merengue in the uk but fine ball room dancing and these were the couples that didn’t make it through to the finals :biggrinn:

My R3 is on ticket so running at 950fps and combined with the Polymags devastating as these colonial buggers can testify too lol

I want to add a further suppressor but getting some issues with accuracy once a can is added…I suspect it’s purely air flow as there’s no sign of clipping but the extra 2″ void is effective and reducing the snappy bark of the R3.

Gun looks great DVS1, I for one do not mind adding extra length to my guns when I need to be super quiet. Are you shooting 12 fpe in the UK? I’ve tried adding a 6 inch LDC the same OD as the shroud but shooting close to 50 fpe, with my .25 R3M it’s not enough to tame the bark.

Apologies if too large but pic from a recent squirrel hunt :4:

I must concur Hoot, John’s adaptor shroud extended by 2″ on my R3 so I could mount a suppressor (legal in uk and John only supplied the adaptor) and alone it tames the crack of the R3 muzzle report, with my reflex suppressor it’s like a mouses fart…literally!

Amazing craftsmanship!

Any pics?

Oh Wise one, no I have not made an Edgun Ldc. I do make the adapter to mount one. Donny’s
Are my recommended piece. Light weight, quality build and mostly, very effective!

Indeed…I have both of the jewel-like Hagan instruments on my current Vulcan…to call them mere “mods” would be an insult!

Anyone who owns a Vulcan, thinking they can live without these improvements, needs to have a colonoscopy!!!

I have a custom jobbie on my .25 R3 mate
