A lightweight scope preferably 16x
As the title says i´m looking for a light and compact (light being the key word here) scope for an EdGun Matador R3. I need a scope with at least 12x but 16x would be even better. Any suggestions ??

Are you kidding about 21 oz being a heavy scope? 21 oz is like a feather on your rail. Yes, the Leupy is 5 oz lighter but over a thousand dollars more. It all boils down to what you are using the scope for and how much coin you have to meet your needs. Good luck.
Not kidding at all. I own several scopes in 20-25 oz class and now i´m looking for something L I G H T W E I G H T. I want the lightest possible combo for scope,laser and mounts for indoor ratting. Why ? I was involved in a severe accident 18 months ago and that blow left me paralyzed from waist down so for fast moving targets i want as light a rig i can find since my balance is now what it is.
21 oz is from the lighter side of the scale but not a real lightweight. I want a scope under 500 grams/17.5 oz since the laser rig adds its weight as well.
Wouldn´t matter for target shooting but rats,as you know, are fast moving little buggers..
If you saw Joe’s bicepts you would understand why he does not think that is heavy.
Rumor is he can bench three Hawke Sidewinders at once.
Can you buy thru Ebay? I got mine that way and got the custom Holland reticle which I have never seen used since or before for that matter, and paid 580. USD.
Another light weight otion is the Clearview 3×9, and is rumored to have terrific glass.
Also Cabelas outfitter scopes are made by Burris and are made with parts frm their discontiued Blackdiamond series, I have looked thru them and they are every bit as good as my VX111 and sell for 250 usd.

Thanks,but that one weighs 21 oz = not especially lightweight. Looks like i need to dig deep in the wallet …

This is fixed at 16 x but if you are going to be shooting at 25 yards and beyond that should not be problematic. I have the 10x fixed and it is a great scope. These are perhaps the best “bang for the buck”, so to speak. You can research the countless right ups on them….

Weighs 1 lb, is 12 inches long.
Side focus, 107 inches of adjustment for those long shots.
