A Little Valve Help, Please
Here is a picture of my disassembled TSS valve. Can’t seem to remove the valve stem from the brass retainer. Tophat threads won’t pull through the brass retainer, and the delrin seat won’t come off to pull the stem out the other way. Don’t want to horse it and fuck it up. Suggestions please. Thanks. 😕 😕

You need to put it back together so you can pry the stem out. Best thing is a fork looking tool. You can do it with 2 screw drivers also.
Just put one screw driver from one side and the other from other on the other side of the stem. This way when you pry up you are pry from both sides of the tophat.

Got it. Sanded the area where the tophat set screws tighten on the stem. Came right out.
