A new Toy
My new Toy ( a little HD Camera) arrived to our palatial residence. Now i just need to gather the courage to roll outside and head to the Range to test it out. This is actually a good choice for those hunting Videos i´ll be making when at the Crow and/or Badger hunt once the Spring decide´s to make its presence. I just took a quick picture on it mounted on the end of the shroud. I´ll munt it on the scope when it´s time to test it – probably tomorrow.

Mother-in-laws are wide open season 365 days a year. 😆 Wild boars and feral hogs in the wild are shoot on sight in my state. No license needed.
I saw this program on Discovery channel about those African Honey Badgers. Those are a breed apart – even the Lions stay away of them – whether the Lion´s are flocked or not. Pit Bull´s of Africa …
A scary thought… Is there an open season for those in US ??
I paid 100€ + insured shipping (from Germany) 20€ = 120 €. A good price on these shores. The same Item is sold here for 255€. We Swedes ( never call me a Swede though) get raped by daily basis. I can´t remember the last time i bought anything significant (besides Croseries and cheap stuff) from Sweden. My guns – whether Airguns or Powderburners – are all bought either from Finland, Germany or Holland. Most of the accessories is bought from either China ( things that won´t hazard my remaining life & limbs), USA ( (things that probably won´t be a hazard for aforementioned :biggrinn: ) or from other places around the Globe. My money goes where i get the best value for it and i couldn´t care less.

Hi ho! How´s life on that tiny Island ?? :biggrinn:
I read you! But … Consider the size difference between Black Bear / Badger : Think about a Badger in the size of a Black Bear or the other way around. The Badger would kick the Bear´s ass like there´s no tomorrow.

Like our wild boars. I am not too concerned when I go black bear hunting about getting eaten but wild boars are another story. They are just plain mean. 😮

Well do! The weather just needs to turn around so the temps can climb to a humane level again. “Badgering” is serious business BTW . Badgers are a tough and ferocious breed and i really like them but they’re a menace once they discover garbage can’s and how easy it’s to tip them over and spread the contains around in search of food.

Yes, I’m awaiting the footage of the crow and badger hunt! 😯
Yup! They even have this Platform for Weaver-rail as an option:

I´ll test “shoot” tomorrow if i get home while it´s still some daylight outside. Then, THEN good Folks comes the tricky part : A Finn without much Computer skills , nerves nor respect for things that don´t work the way i want them to work will try to download the Footage to this Work of Satan – Sony Vaio.
If everything goes according to plan there will be a test Video and if not there may be a Sony Vaio, broken in half. We´ll see what gives ..
It´s actually a nice little Camera. Weighs just 40 Grams ( 1.4 oz ) incl. the Battery , it´s water resistant downto 10 m (33 ft.) ,it films in HD and has a Microphone.
exactly. looks like a good option for lightweight HD recording.
Wish it would do IR too. Can’t wait to see videos.
