A new way to mount a Harris Bipod without drilling???
So I’ve been scouring the web trying to find at (somewhat) easy way to mount a harris bipod and I think I may have found it! I wonder if I could use this dovetail to picatinny low profile 11mm adapter http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/accessory.pl?accessory_id=930 and then use the new Harris picattinny mount? http://www.harrisbipods.com/HB638.html

Go quick disconnect the way the military does it. This is for a picitanny rail. So if you already have the convertor use this to go from bipod to no pod in 2 seconds.

but direct link for the stud is not working.
BKL mounts and adapters are getting very difficult to find as the company has gone out of business. I just check the Straight Shooters site and it does show that they have the adapter and I would order fast if you want it.. This BKL will be gone before to long..

I also purchased my Harris bipod from Midway on sale a while back. I liked the one so much, I now have 3 of them… It’s nice how you can remove them and remount them so easily…
Nice Dad – I’m looking forward to getting my Harris bipod. I’ve not had one before, but hve heard nothing but good things. Midway was having a sale on them too!
That is similar to what I did with my set up..This is a BKL adapter with a stud screw that has been tapped into it… work great and can also be use for a flashlight or laser…
