Q:

AA S410 Fill Pressure

The recommended fill pressure is listed as 100-110 BAR in the owners manual. I have seen where some fill to 150 BAR. Then there is the AA website that lists 200 BAR as maximum. So what’s the deal? How much do you guys charge your AA rifles to?

Thanks

Y, I sent you a PM.

Good point. I’ll mention it to them tomorrow.

Not their fault at all. But letting them know they could remove the link and let AA know and then put it back when fixed (or have someone inhouse just edit the PDF)

I fill mine right at 2800psi for FT shooting and it works out just fine.

I don’t think that it is PA’s fault this time. That is the manual that AA supplied them with. I think that AA has made a mistake, or they have changed something. It doesn’t make sense to me either.

Indeed it does.

Thats Odd because In the body of page 12 it even says 200Bar (2900PSI), but then lower down it has the 100-110 Bar statement

The 100-110 is definitely wrong – I’d send Pyamidair an email or give them a phonecall to have them correct that.

I checked my dial on the scuba tank and I do fill to 2900 PSI which gives me a nice power curve. When I first got it I tried 3000 PSI and that gave some low powered shots to start and I’ve heard the same from other owners.

This is the link to the AA manual downoaded from PA:
http://www.pyramydair.com/site/manuals/S410_Manual.pdf

It recommends 100-110 BAR in the text. I read further and it lists MFP as 200 BAR. I had to think about what MFP meant to be perfectly honest. But don’t take my word for it…check it out for yourself.

As always, thanks Y. 😀

The Manual I got said 190. I fill to around that.

200 is the Max pressure… but most fill less than that because the power curve is more predictable which is why I fill to 190.

I’d like to see a photo of the manual page you have that says 110… because thats WAY off.
