Like all forms of life on Earth on Earth, we must kill other species, plant, amphibian, and mammal, to stay alive. Civilization/science/intelligence has simply made the process more sanitary, socially acceptable, and accelerated it to levels the planet’s resources cannot provide.
The Earth cannot sustain a human population greater than 11 billion. We are at 7 billion now. In 1960 the world population was 3 billion humans. Do the math.
Soon enough, Earth will shake it’s mantle, adjust it’s climate, and rid itself of the lice that gnaw on it’s surface resources. Then, over geological time, it will devour it’s current crust into the circulating lava beneath our feet, and generate a brand new crust, repleat with new resources, and start the process all over in a few hundred million years or so!
The Earth is over 4 billion years old. It is almost certain that there have been intelligent species developed many hundreds of millions of years prior to the advent of human beings. It is also likely this has happened many times..and they all became extinct. With 5 billion years, or so, left before our sun goes nova, there is lots and lots of time for new life forms to develop and evolve into intelligent species, just like we did.
We like to see ourselves as “gods” that will exist forever. Perhaps…perhaps not. Either way, Earth will continue to change it’s crust, climate, and seas. The only certainty I foresee is that humans will have self destructed, one way or another, and we will be replaced by the next group of passengers on our tiny spinning rock.
This, of course, will be the sole responsibility of Liberals, welfare whores, entitlement breeders, and the Democratic Party, particularly the Chicage political machine! All of the afore-mentioned will elect politicians who will speed this process along with the implements of greed, power, and self indulgence.
Not every one will agree…especially the Baptists who plan to levitate off the planet before all this takes place. More power to them.

If a non-bi partisan nominee gets elected (which they never will) there would essentially be a stalemate in administrative powers, nothing would get passed in the Senate and Congress. For example someone like Ron Paul. So obviously those in power would never allow it to happen, and don’t.
That in and of itself (a stalemate) would be better than what is happening right now. But it’s never going to happen.
And trust me, not even the Libertarian party (as it currently exists) is outside the current two party dynamic. :angrymob:
My comment is referring to the screams of ‘get the liberal democrats out of office so we can have America back’ (which is a rally cry for voting in the Republicans, which do the exact same things as the Democrats). It is not a comment on the underlying power structure guiding the bad policy and world domination.
