Q:

Accuracy

Several people here have the .25’s now. How are they stacking up accuracy wise. I’ve heard so much pro an con. Any pictured shot groups?

Here is a .22 group at 50 and .25 at 45 yards. I have re-lapped the bbl. and it is getting better all the time. Groups went to hell at about 1500 to 1600 shots. Cleaned it, and increased the leed in the breach. It helped a bit too.

At short range so far, the .22 has the advantage, but at long range, say 100, so far, the .25 is the winner. The last pic is the first groupo and third group fro the bbl. when it first came in. It is doing a lot better now, but I keep getting those damed flyers! Over all, It is a shooter! 😀

had a chance to stretch the legs of my .25 Vulture and offhand at 100 yards put 10 shots into an 8″ cluster with the best seven in a 4″ bunch.
leaning on the side of my truck to steady the shot got a nice 5 shot 2″ group.
Shooting Kodiaks at around 900.

not too shabby…

i’d say they’re both “keepers”

i’m a .22 fan myself…i have many 22 rimfires (and .17 HMR’s) and over the years i’ve foiund that some have uncanny “out oif the box” accuracy.

i hope i can ‘spring’ for a .25 barrel soon, too, for my Talon.
