accuracy prob with new condor
Hey everyone i just got my tonytuned .25 condor and Ive been shooting a lot. It seems to be shooting very different with different pellets but my concern is that the 42 Sam yang pellets never come within 2 or 3 or even sometimes 4 inches of each other. I am using a leapers scope 6-24 with airforce high profile mounts but its not shooting accurate at 20 yrds. I would like to know if the pellets arent accurate, if the gun needs to be broken in alot before it is all good, or if something else is wrong. Ive taken atlease 50 shots. About 1 out of 6 bullets land where i put the reticles.

Same here. The Kodiak is the most accurate pellet in both my .25’s, and also the .22. I guess the Kodiak is a superior pellet, better design? or is it the LW barrels just don’t like the pointed SamYangs, period? Maybe it has to do with the tigher fit of the SamYangs, ie: the diameter of the Korean pellets? Does anyone have any insight why our guns don’t like these heavier pellets? The 28.4 Eun Jins shoot fine in my .22 though, but the 34gr Eun Jin’s don’t in the .25’s, so it looks like it’s more related to the .25 caliber..
Once again Kodiaks save the day. This is why I’ve already been stocking up on them even though I haven’t received my .25 setup yet.
yea with kodiaks, mine puts them in the same hole constantly. I shouldve tried the kodiaks before i posted this i guess.
Corey — I can tell you that Kodiaks shoot better in mine than the Sam Yang.
That is possible. If it shoots well with other pellets, then the gun is fine. You may just have to look for a different pellet to shoot.
list helped. I guess my condor just isnt accurate with sam yang 42g.

I’ve heard the same thing about the flex. I hear the Condor frame is a bit stiffer due to the extra long top sight rail. If you use the tri-rail, it will also help to stiffen up the frame.
i keep the stock tight to my shoulder and i keep the gun still by putting pressure on grips.

how are you holding the rifle? I only ask because these do not like to be muscled around, you must use a soft touch when shouldering, aiming, and squeezing. just about any lateral force will give you frame flex and accuracy will be nonexistent

My condor loves both eun jins and kodiaks. Kodiaks may have a slight edge over them, but not by a lot. I shoot kodiaks now just because I don’t need quite the power of eun jins and the kodaks are cheaper. So maybe it’s a difference between each barrel?
