Action Wiggles in Stock
Does anyone else’s action seem loose in the stock? My .22’s action wiggles left/right about 0.5 mm even when the stock bolt are tight.
The rear of the action was also loose and that I took care of with some electrical tape on the action, but the front wiggles a bit.
I can feel it shift during cocking and when picking up the gun. The air tube easily shifts left/right about 0.5 mm to hand pressure.
I’m thinking I need to glass bed the air tube and stock. The rear portion of the stock I’m not wanting to bed because of
all the linkages that could be messed up. On the other, the forward section under the air but seems pretty safe to bed.
Gun shoots well, but it is annoying to feel the action shift about.

I do want to add that John Hagan would have corrected the adjuster, but it was quick and easy to take care of it myself.
His tool is by far superior to the one I made out of a tire patch tool.
Also, his shroud extension is an exact fit that is flush and aligns perfectly.
