Added a light and laser to my SS Condor for pesting!!
Well ordered a NCStar laser/light combo off EBay (100.00) and was majorly disappointed. The plastic 20mm clamp broke when I tightened her down to the 20 mm rail on my Mildot scope then the tang in the battery compartment needed to be resoldered!!!!
So I think to myself while the concept is sound lets change it a bit. 💡
I drilled and tapped an old QD base I had and then added the NcStar to the set up. 😆
Now I have a laser/light combo that will detach with a throw of a lever and a light that with a push of a lever detaches from the laser. 😀
The light is super bright and with the laser should work well for pesting in low light scenarios. Still waiting for my spare Condor tank and a 2nd scuba tank b4 I finish testing completely as indoor chrony testing is looking very promising with 21 grainers in .22 being clocked in the very high 800’s from a 12″ barrel.

looks great. Might try mounting the laser on the front dovetail in front of the sight rail, as low to the barrel as possible to minimize variance in point of aim/point of impact. accuracy of the laser is going to be VERY dependent on distance to target mounted that high above the barrel.
