Added hammer weight?
Quick question:
I have a Talon SS in .22 cal… I’d plan to get the condor valve or condor hi-flow tank with the .25 barrel and hammer weight. My question is, if I decide to occasionally swap back to my .22 cal barrel and standard tank, will leaving the hammer weight in be detrimental? I imagine it should just hit the valve harder but since its the standard tank and valve, I guess it won’t let out too much air anyway, right?
I’d hate to have to change the hammer out each time.

WHY?
its a piece of cake.
1 screw off the front grip handle.
1 screw off endcap (ss)
4 barrel mount screws
barrel slides out.
Take one more little allen screw off the power wheel.
bang, barrel, power wheel, spring, hammer weight ..all slide right out.
ONE MORE SCREW….it really is so easy its just not an issue

What are you looking for?
You will to put the .25 barell 12″ inch?
Only add a hammer weight you will to increaser the velocity and the air consumption.

Get the high flow tank instead of just the valve. The tank is almost free when you compare the price between the two and then you have the option to still use the standard setup.
You will get the same amount of shots one would expect to get if it was in an actual condor frame. The difference will be the velocity. Because the barrel is shorter than the condor you can expect lower velocity. The valve works the same and releases the same amount of air regardless of the frame and barrel that is involved. Now if you want to try and match velocity to a longer barrel then you will get less shots because the shorter barrel is less efficient than a longer and requires more air to match the longer barrels velocity.
What would you guys recomend about either replacing the valve or getting a condor hi-flow tank? Can anyone tell me about how many shots you’d expect to get (on average) with these mods in .25? I know thats hard to answer but just wondering. Would this basically make my Tallon SS a shrouded SS TalonP?
I really like the TalonP but not how loud it is.

Yes it is really no issue removing the hammer weight since you will be removing the barrel to go the .22 any way.
