additional moderator LARGE Vulcan AGN
today I got this in the post, along with other random spare parts i have ordered.
So i can confirm: there is absolutely no problem with availability of parts -this used to be grave issue with other makes…
The quality is great, performance – the same
it is the larger additional moderator 38mm O.D. not the 28mm O.D.

there are no baffles but the shroud already has chambers… the moderator provides the extra volume for the air to expand. the original shroud has very low internal volume.
there is packing material in it held by from what I can see: a large diameter spring, my gun is a detuned .25 for ratting work so I cant hear a thing. if you have a .22 or .177 I would try to fit something to the exit aperture (like a tube pointing inwards or similar) that would further improve, worth playing with it. But alignement is critical. you need a perfectly aligned shroud when you screw your shroud onto the barrel, if it dances side to side, pellets will clip on the additional moderator I can tell you that.
what I like about it is that it has the same finish/coating/texture/color as the airtube or the original shroud. you will not get that with aftermarket parts.
