Q:

Adjustable 1 pc mount ?

Is anyone using a one pc adjustable mount to correct for windage. I am looking at a Beeman 5039 1pc. My scope adjustment is maxed out and I would like to get it centered better.

Maybe the barrel is drilled off center to its OD.

Take a look and see.

If it is the cause of it shooting left then remove barrel and bushings. Rotate barrel a 1/4 turn so the left side is now on top. Redrill for set screws on the barrel and reinstall.

Now it probably will be shooting higher then it was and you should be all set.

The only surefire way to check if your tri-rail or scope rail is off is to mount a laser on the frame in front of the rail (if you can get access to one). Start without the tri-rail first then the scope rail. Align the laser’s dot to your scope’s reticle – let it overlap the reticle’s intersection point – say at 25 yards. Then, focus your scope to a farther distance, say about 60 yards. And then focus your scope to a close distance, say about 13 yards. Now, if the laser’s dot does not overlap the intersection of the scope’s reticle at both distances horizontally, then indeed the tri-rail or the scope rail (or both) is the problem.

Windage, I tried reversing the tri-rail and one pc mount and it did not make much difference. I seems to me that the scope rail on the rifle is off. As it is I have it sited in but I would like the scope centered better. I have tried 2 scopes and it is the same. What else could it be?

Do you mean windage, or elevation? If your scope is maxed out on the windage adjustment, right or left, something else is wrong if your scope is that out of alignment with the barrel, unless I’m miss understanding you.
