Advice for ss shroud depth.
I was asked to make a shroud for a talon with a 12″ barrel. I advised the buyer that I was more than willing to make a shroud for him, however, I do not have a 12″ barrel to test it on. He wants it to only stick out 4″ from the frame. The baffels that go into the frame is where I have a question.
Below is a picture of a shroud. “I did not build it”, but it is similar to what I plan to build. On a talon ss is it better to run the baffles 6″ into the frame or to leave it out a couple inches from the barrel like on a condor?

It looks similar. I do not have a mill “YET”, but it has two larger chambers. I believe the two chambers are probally larger than the one in the picture.

I have the infamous don g. on my ss and can pull it out sun. and take some measurements, if needed.
very quiet, only adds 2″ to frame.

Looks like one of Seans. On the 12″ I like them with baffels in the frame.
