Q:

advice needed on air bottle

ok, guys. i know you people in the states know your gun stuff. so can someone please give me some help here. i found the value to be loose on my air bottle so i tightened it up, i did not over tighten just a snap so it does not move and is not loose. i filled the air bottle to 190 bar, still low power, removed the air bottle and to my horror the value has atlmost worked it self out of the bottle.

BEFORE TIGHTENING – i have marked the screw i tightened, there were 2 of them.

AFTER TIGHTENING THE LOOSE GRUBSCREWS – the value seems to have come out of the bottle.

anyone know what has happened?

Hi,

I did send my bottle back to AirForce and they fixed it up under warranty.
True you don’t want to mess with high pressure air ….kboom!

Thank you
Cheers

hi chris, my tank would still hold air, i had other issues with it, low power. so i sent it back to the manufacturer and they put everything right, fixed my air bottle and increased my power.

sorry for late reply.

if your gun is under warranty just send it back for repair. or get a decent gunsmith to have a look. these air bottles hold alot of air, not worth messing about with, if they go off it will be like a bomb.

Hello,

I had something similar happening to me.
My delrin valve part had blown apart an the tophat was free to move and stick all the way out.
But the tank coud not hold any air like that and was totaly empty.

Not sure if your is the same issue though.
Can you push it back in?
Is the tank full? Under pressure?

Cheers
Chris
