Advice on the fx t-12 whisper
Hello all…….I’m new to this forum and new to airguns. I’ve been reading along and I’ve taken Varminters advice and ordered the Whisper from AOA. I want to whip up on some ground hogs out here on the farm. I would use a .22 but the neighbors would freak out, so the airgun idea came along. I already own a RWS 48 and I have a 6 power RWS scope on it, 30 mm.. but it’s a .177 and a little loud. I also think the .22 cal would be better. I’m thinking of putting that scope on the Whisper???? I’m thinking of ordering the 3 stage fx pump as well????? Lastly, I’ve been looking at pellets…jsb .22 15.9 gr, monsters 25.4 gr., and/or predator polymer tip 16.0 gr ????? Any and all advice would be much appreciated…….don

Take a look at the bushnell scope in the optics section, it’s a really good deal and is probably alot better than yours. I was going to get it but I gotta pay alot for shipping, duty and like 10$ just so they’ll ship it to Canada lol.
I don’t personally have the fx but i would be careful what pellets you buy because the may be to long for the mag.

Don’t get the FX pump…..Hill pump all the way. I have had both and
the Hill is waaayyy better.
Personally I don’t like the JSB 15.9 gr, but the JSB 18.1 gr are great.
I use the Crosman 14.3 for plinking and the Beeman Crow-Magnum
for hunting. Also heard good reviews for the predator poly.

I had heard of the hill pump and I’ll be ordering it tommorrow,along with a jag of pellets! Thanks for all the help. Now, I’m headed to the optics section to look at the Bushnell scope, after all, it ain’t nothing but money and you can’t take it with you. don
