AF fiber optics sights total newbie needs help

I just mounted my AF fiber optics sights to my Condor and as I am a total newbie to open fiber optics sights I need some help. How do I sight the optics in at different range? Up to what kind of range can use them? Any other pointers regards shooting or alternative/ better open sight for replacement are welcome,
