Aftermarket Curly cords?

I’ve got the standard 2008/2009-class ChiCom green laser… it works great, but the momentary switch is less than jake… kinda balky, it delivers full power sometimes and then it goes dim and flickers other times. It’s unreliable.

I see a few companies that sell stand-alone momentary switches for lasers and flashlights … are there any that you can say work well, and are they universal, or product-specific? My laser has a 1″ tube.
