Air Arms Buddy Bottle Stock

been working on this conversion for a few month on and off, its almost finished now so i thought id put a few pictures up so you can see what ive been upto this summer, dont know what to call it yet, i have a Verminator so i thought about calling this an Airiator, i will put a few more pictures up once ive finished anodising the bits.

I’m in the process of building a new rail for my Matador .25, one with more elevation. Can you explain the anodizing process, and what type of steel is the bottle? . It really looks very good.

BTW Nice tuning on your gun.

That just looks freakin incredible… something that nice deserves a better butt though… surely you’ve got something in the works!

Nice. Is the tank anodized also? I was going to anodize mine but was told it’s not recommended. My be I will. Looks nice.

i made the fittings from a piece of round brass bar which was milled in a rotary table and the flats put on at 60 degrees and its 13mm across the flats then i held the hex bar in the laithe and turned it down and threaded to 1/8″ BSPP and then parted it off the tube is 1/8″ copper and is braised into the fittings the working pressure of the tube is 3026 PSI and the burst pressure is whey above that at 12104 because the 2 fittings are seperate they can be screwed onto the brass fittings and then assembled onto the action

here’s some pictures with all the parts anodized the bottle is a 400cc and i got th bottle off blodnob its got a 5/8″ thread blodnob tells me the bottle came out of a hummer its part of an emergency air supply that they fit incase the vehicle goes into water and the people can’t get out i don’t know how true this is but this is what blodnob tells me
