Q:

Air leaking past pressure gauge….

Do I need a special tool to remove the pressure gauge? I watched Ernest’s video.

I have a leak when filling. I replaced the O ring on the fill probe and assembly tube. Still I feel air leaking at a fast rate and it seems to be coming out of the air gauge housing. I did remove the tiny screw and checked the O ring inside the air gauge housing, but how do I get the air gauge removed without a special tool? I did a search but found no advice.

Otherwise, the gun holds air fine and shoots without problem. I just can’t figure out how to get that gauge out.

A little help?

UPDATE: I tracked the leak to a bad probe connection to the fill hose. Still, I’d certainly like to know if that pressure gauge needs a special tool for removal……

Didn’t know you were a stick’s & stone guy hOOt but then again I don’t know much. If you throw a stone really hard it might hurt or so I’m told…

Throwing rocks is what you do best. Do not throw them on that nice person who feeds you thru the cage bars though… No Poop throwing either or you’ll go hungry.

Thanks guys….

Who said I “owned” a Cricket??? Can’t a guy try to improve himself on this forum? Geez……

I don’t even own a Lelya. I’ve been reduced to throwing rocks!

Believe me guys, I searched and searched for one and just couldn’t find anybody that would sell/make one for me. Then I found this guy on the internet. He make custom parts for BMWs. I saw his swing arm tool and asked if he could modify one for the Cricket. I showed him a link to where someone made one from the 27mm socket. He made it the same day and the next day I received it. He sent it to me to try, I didn’t even paid him yet. The gauge removal tool he makes is just PERFECT, I paid him and told him I will tell the world (ok, just this forum) about his product. Also I believe it’s the best price you’re gonna get (unless you make it yourself) at $29 SHIPPED.

try cutting a round rubber sheet the size of the gauge and place on the face of the gauge, apply a lot of pressure just with your hand tune CCW, or place on table push your weight down hard will turning CCW. make sure no pressure in the AT. If No Go Use my socket.

Had 2 member that had a leak on the gauge —told them the same way and they got the gauge out, table option work the best.
