Q:

Air Tank for Talon/condor at the right size

Hello everybody,
In the past i put a Guerrila 22ci – 3000 psi tank in my AF Talon, it has a jsd valve regulator with output at 1800 + co2 AF adapter in my talon, at this moment, I was looking for consistency, but the tank and butt pad was very long, then my hands canΒ΄t get the grip in a confortably way,
Yestarday I look in hte web a 17ci/3000 psi tank, but I don’t know if it has the same length, in the wab appear that it has 12 inches of lenght, but i dont know if it measure is for all the tank or w/out valve.
On the other hand the 13 ci/3000 psi is very small- short for me, thne Anybody know if there are another tank?
And anybody if the ETAC REgulator, make more long the AF Talon?

This is the 22ci (lenght 12.5″)

Slap me down if I’m too far out of bounds, but is the Catalina 9098 a viable option?

I’ve been wondering about this for awhile so here goes, is there no advantage in going to a 300 bar tank?

Seemed like the place to ask, Will

Bump…
Inquiring minds would like to know?

Yes you can. As long as the tank has 5/8-18 threads. I thought you were talking about a 48 ci bottle which the OD will hit the frame.

The larger tanks need a adapter to push the tank away from the frame. In you case it would be 5/8″ to 5/8″ and 1.75″ long works fine

Which adapter are we talking about and where can I get them?

So I cannot buy a 17ci bottle (which looks like it’s the same width as the stock TalonP tank, just 3 inches longer?) and just replace the valve assembly from the TalonP tank?

Hello, noob here. I’m interested in upgrading my tank for the TalonP. What’s the procedure for this? I would like to buy one of these paintball tank…it’s a lot cheaper than the Airforce ones. Besides they don’t offer any tanks besides the stock 13ci (with the same Direct Flo valve). The 17ci or 22ci seems like the perfect size for the TalonP.

I want to retain the power so I will probably need the Direct Flo valve?? Do I just unscrew the valve from the stock tank and replace in new tank? Is it that simple? Please advise.

If you want it the same length as stock with the Etac-reg I use the 48 ci tank. The only problem is the threads are 5/8-18. Is your reg 5/8 or 18mm?

The tanks are fatter but you get a lot of shots. If you have 18 mm I can rethread a bottle for you.
