Air Wolf MCT groups
The weather finally was calm and warm enough for me to go outside and test out my new MCT. It was later this afternoon and the sun was going down so I didnt get to shoot as many groups as I would like, but I was amazed by how many I shot off one fill…. The groups are shot in the order numbered. JSB Jumbo Heavy’s were first, then JSB Jumbos, then Crosman Premier boxed, then Kodiaks. All groups were from 45 yards away and each group is 5 shots.
I swapped to Kodiaks at group 11 and they hit considerablly lower than the others (look at the blue tape below), so for group 12 and on I compensated up 2 x-mas tree lines. The Kodiaks group the best but the MCT was getting low on air and the groups opened up quite a bit. Between group 16 and 17, I refilled to 208 bar and group 17 tightened up ALOT. I must have flinched on group 18, no explaination for that flyer…
Also, sometime before I filled up, my wife shot 5 pellets not into a target, so on a single 210 bar fill, this gun got 85 shots off.
I know this gun will group better than this. I had a Sidewinder 30 4-16 on there and I wasnt super impressed with it at 16. I swapped out my Nikko Sterling Nighteater 6-24 and I’ll try again with that next time I get a chance.
I think I’ll keep her. My poor other guns, they’re never going to get any use now…..
