Hi Adam, what was he hitting and which pellet was he using?

I would very much like a rifle that effortlessly put pellet on pellet. Ta very much. Anyone who has a boring rifle such as this can palm it off to me. 😀

Sometimes when something is too easy it can become boring.

So I hit the 2″ bulleye at 70 yds 100 times out of 100.

I pick up my pistol, career or Talon and see what can be done.

I have killed so many birds with the 410 it has become boring. I now take out my Mac1 LD and hunt alongside my son who uses the 410.

BTW he was making some amazing shots at 200yds the other day with the 410. The 410 is that good.

Bull’s eye Saug! Nail on the F%$# head my friend! Any weapon that consisently puts projectiles on target, time after time, is what builds confidence. Confidence is what shooting is all about. The weapon, the ammo, and our ability to bring it all together is the goal. The three snipers who dumped the “pirates”, (simultaneously while bobing around the ocean), a few months ago had that confidence. I have that confidence in my TSS for the exact distance for which it is sighted in for…which happens to be the puny distance of 24 feet, (the distance to the rats dinner plate). Further than that I have to re-zero and it takes too much time. So what’s my answer…buy another gun! What else? And a damn boring one at that!

Uh, which one was that again? Guys like Rob3dr make them all look like one holers. Then there is the AA, BSA, Theoben, Daystate, Weilrauch (did I spell that right)? and a whole bunch of others. Iney, meanie, miney, moe…cath an airgun by the toe.

Which leads me to my next thread…Airguns Anonymous
Hi, may name is Steve…it’s been x-days since I bought my last airgun 😀

I’m a little confused when I hear the term “Boring” being used every now and then when it comes to a gun that does exactly what most shooters strive for, which is a gun that has consistant lazer like accuracy, a gun that you know will hit what you aim at time after time, a gun you can count on. This is boring?

What’s boring to me is constantly fiddling with a gun to make it shoot good lol. Maybe the word ‘frustrating’ would be more like it, but it’s a great shooting gun that does great time after time that puts that wicked little smile on my face, time after time, and for me, there’s certainly nothing boring about that.

What sort of fps you getting and whats the shot count??

Here is mine, absolute beauty.

You will love that rifle. It has been said they are so accurate they are boring. 😀

I wouldnt say boring. Lets say “less challenging” to shoot.

However I have yet to be able to hit anything at that sort of range. Pellet drop is clean off the scope past 140 yards. -edit- off my aiming points of the reticle I use.

If I remember when I first saw that video, somewhere, it said that rifle was modified. No details given though.

He made the gun into a bullpulp style rifle, that’s the mod I seen.

I bought a .22 cal S410 Classic FAC with Walnut stock off the Yellow recently. Love the gun. It is only shooting 18 grain JSB’s at 630 fps (16 fp) but you can cover 5 shots with a dime at 30 yards (shooting off a rickety step ladder with a couple of bean bags on it). Much quieter than my .22 Talon SS and has taken 8 squirrels in the past 2 weeks. Doing a good job protecting my tomatoes. Last year I only got 5 tomatoes from 15 tomato plants. It has become my favorite air rifle.

At that distance with high coefficient pellets like Exacts, it will have roughly 5 or 6 foot pounds remaining. I’ve killed rabbits and squirrels with much less. More importantly, is the accuracy it’s capable of.

Have you decided which length you are going for? … Carbine, Classic, Extra… Walnut or beech?

Shot count and handling being the only real differences.

Good to see you’re enthusiastic about the purchase.

Extra, walnut. Seems to be the powerhouse.
