Why not import directly then ? Much cheaper.
And what Ed says is really not that important. He says a lot of things.
My dear Herring Lips….
If you check the websits that Nomadick Pirate posted, one of the U.S. vendors has already stated their retail price is over $1850 USD, but they are kindly willing to sell it to us for a mere $1695 USD. What the other vendor does remains to be seen. He may undercut that first “retail sales price” and gobble up a lot of sales. Kind of like the pissing contest we saw with the Cricket prices.
I assume they get a dealer’s discount/wholesale price, let’s say their actual cost is anywhere from $1,000 to $1300 per gun,…well what can you say, if they are the sole importers, and you want the gun, they can charge what they damn well please. So, they are charging what the children across the pond are being charged…VAT be damned, what you pay is still what you pay.
That’s just the way it is.
Like Ed says…if you can’t afford it, get a better job! Or, simply don’t buy the gun.
One other thing…I hope WWAG understands that if they show a premium, well grained, glossy, Walnut stock on the Vulcan, the early, “reserve one for me” buyers are going to be genuinely pissed if they receive a plain jane, lacquered beech. stock! There’s one hell of a difference in eye appeal between the two!!!
Here is the beech stock:
And here is what they show as the product being sold:
I’d be changing that picture real soon, for sure. But, perhaps they are actually selling the Walnut premium stock and THAT accounts for the price increase.

The damn Czechs have a long memory. So you think they´ll screw me for that age old Fish thing ?? They have another thing coming if that´s the case : The Viper doesn´t like to get screwed by anyone , except Mrs. Viper.
A new Herring embargo is just a message-in-a-bottle away. Those fools … :angrymob:
And Hootie : You need to count the Czech /EU VAT off that 1650 USD since it´s going to be exported outside the EU. I think the Czech VAT is 19-20 % but to be sure you need to ask Jan / Octavius.
That ain’t no Walnut stock I saw on their web site. It’s beech, stained and oiled. Yet the Finnish Viper says his is Walnut! Ordering one in Walnut, and getting one in Walnut, are two different things. I bet he gets screwed. The Chekoslovockians have never forgiven Finland for the Great Herring Embargo of 1856!
I would still like to own one in .25 caliber.
Hoot:
Waiting for Ville to get his. He’ll post his review after testing…
Twat is the Krosa bullpup ?
Not yet, but they should be in real soon
I’m not certain they can be purchased in the U.S. just yet.

I personally think it is one of the most attractive BP. I also like that the cocking bolt is near center than the rear, which I always thought was kind of unnatural. The trigger safety is another good thing, really surprised so many of these BP PCPs don’t have one.
Does look great ! Guess we will wait and see how it shoots.

.
Very true…very true!
I’m not certain Kalibrgun retails it’s guns, and I’m not certain a foreign dealer would be willing, or even could, sell it to us minus the VAT??? If so, then we would be better off buying it at the “sales price” here.
