Q:

Airhog HPA system string with JBS 18.1 PW 0/3 3,300 psi fill

Here are my latest results for you guys contemplating
regulated air…..This system can handle 4,500psi but I can’t
get my pump that high…

I shot this off of the bipod and the wind was blowing 15 to 20
from right to left so windage was scattered….Elevation
deviation is the thing to look at in these conditions to determine
the consistancey of the regulator output…This was shot at
65 yds….On a calm day I am confident it would have been one
ragged hole and smaller….

Last one…There are about 15 shots in this group

With high rings and the tri-rail it is pretty much perfect…Except
for guys that have a really big head…..lol…

Nice! Other than the bottle being so large in dia. I really like this set up! It has great possibilities! 😀

So what you have one set up for 15 and one
for 18 is that the deal.

Looks like it doesn’t it..that wasn’t part of the plan although the
JDSairman 2,000psi reg is a laser with JSB 15.8’s.
Maw I was looking for consistancy from
the get go and decided to jump in with both feet and see what the
market had to offer…I had no idea what psi output I needed but,
I knew I wanted to be in the 900+fps range….So I just started buying
and testing until I understood what a regulator could do….That is why
I am posting the info…I am hoping to save those who are
interested in regulated air some time, AGGREVATION, and money…
No since it keeping it all to myself….
And as a side note: I am a far ways from being a good shot
so, take that into consideration when looking at the targets….
Anyone could shoot these groups….My brother was over this
weekend shooting quarter size pieces of tile at 65yds….This setup
is just point and shoot…..

Wow the power wheel was at 0/3? And clutching the 1100 fps range! What’s the regulator set at?

What kind of velocity would you be getting at 10 or 12? I assume at some point you will be “wasting air”.

2,200 psi output on the regulator….
With a regulator the PW doesn’t have as much of an effect
on the velocity because it is always putting out the same psi
when the valve is open….I had it on 12/12 earlier and it was
running an average of 1,050 fps….
