airtank question

i just rebuilt my airforce handpump its working again put the first time when i went to bleed it off it looked like smoke coming out but it was silicone grease the silicone grease also made it into my airforce tank should i be worried or is that ok

I had to use it to lube the o rings on the hand pump

I would not be worried. But, silicone is crap for lubricating metal to metal contact. I’d just as soon not have it dripping through the gun…

Still, no worries.
