aliexpress type pcp compressor oil??
I’m thinking about getting one of these to fill my pistol and rifles. But getting the special scuba compressor oil around here is near impossible. I see the Bauer synthetic on ebay but a liter is $100 shipped ouch! Would it be ok to run it on full synthetic automotive oil un till I can find the scuba type for a price for mere mortals?? I have run my shop compressor on that type of oil before with no issues but it shuts off at 150 psi not 3000. Your thoughts?

Filtertechs.com online sells SEC0 lube 500 for $17 a quart or $54 a gallon. High grade synthetic compressor oil is not normally found other than in stores that sell or service high pressure compressors. Don’t use the oil intended for low pressure compressors as it will leave deposits and soot in a high pressure compressor.
Just look for ce750 / iso vg195 grade oil locally.

Coltri compressor oli is much cheaper than bauer, and its basically the same.

Thank you very much I have some great options now, I emailed the Venders selling on ALIEXPRESS they all said motor oil is fine. I will play it safe and get the oil recomended by you guys.
