I heard beta-blockers mentioned on the 100 meter indoor shoot video. Musicians etc. take these for stage fright. They get help from a pill to calm them down so they can perform at their best. Not suggesting you take them but I believe some FT competitors do.

This helped me out a lot….. It explains some of the things that the mind and
body do when you are shooting and helps you understand that you aren’t the
only one having these problems…. Especially the “Releasing the Shot”.

I found as state previously a low magnification will improve your groups. I like 6 or 7.

Also pay close attention on how tight you are shouldering that rifle. Frame flex is real.

Here you go this might help… I fixed up a target for you.

Ha Ha , make that a AA Hull and it would be perfect.

nice and easy to see 😆

rj have you tuned the gun in, will it shoot tight grups at 25 yards. what size of a target are you shooting at.

always helps me if i am aiming at a target that is close to the size of the crosshairs. so you have something small to aim at.

.050 does not seem to be enough top hat to reach 1050, but i have found that the Kodiak likes it around 1000.

how are you measuring the top hat, i use a feeler gauge , then measure the feeler gauge with dial calipers.

I used to have the same problem when sighting in a scope. But if I put the crosshairs on somthing with a pulse I don’t usually miss (as long as they’re within my sight in range) ….my dad always told me “aim small…..miss small” never fully understood it till just a few years agoe…Greg

with me i find shooting paper is harder because its a bigger target
i know you only aim at the X but i still can hit .22lr shells easyier than hitting a .22 case sized target on paper
i thinks its more mental than anything
i could be wrong but this is my experience

You are saying you are shooting more accurately at the shotgun shells than you are on paper?

If so, I tend to do that, and I think a lot of people do. With my cz at 100 yards I can kill tiny pieces of clay pigeons all day long, but looking at most of the groups you would think I couldn’t hit what I just was.

I don’t know what to tell you to fix it though. What magnification are you shooting it? I find it MUCH easier to shoot lower. For example, my blaser has a 6.5-20x scope on it. I can usually print much smaller groups at 100 yards at 6.5 than I can at 20. So that’s something to try. Other than that just slow down, concentrate on your sight picture and practice proper trigger control. If you are hitting small targets off paper, you can definitely make small groups.

Are you clipping or are you shooting the Kodiak’s 2 fast? Also maybe your SD is too much.
