All ready upgrading condor SS

Well got the condor SS in last week and I am loving it. Thankfully the co2 adapter came in the same day and that got me shooting immidiately, since as soon as I filled the hpa tank and fired one shot I new I was going to need a shroud. Holy crap was it loud!!!! Sounded like a 22lr going off! Not very good when I have neighbors in such close proximity! I have a small 10m range set up in my back yard but one house is litterly 5 feet from were I sit to shoot and the others are not much farther away. While its perfectly legal I don’t want any issues. So co2 it was much more manageable in the noise department and at 700 fps over the crony and half a tin of jsb jumbo heavys I was still smiling! I did order one of Tonys amazing shrouds that night. Great guy awnseres numerous emails over the weekend Sunday included and shipped immidiately Monday morning! Can’t wait to get more of his mods expecially a hammer and hammer slap mod. The 9″ shroud is supper effective and I finly got to play with the hpa tank and pull out the crony, holy smokes this thing was screaming on a 3000psi fill I couldn’t keep it under 1000’fps! So started playing around and found that a 2550 fill gives me many shots at right around 908 right were I wanted it to be 32fpe with great accuracy is alot Bette than 40 fpe with pellets all over the place. I couldn’t notice a difference in impact or instability at 10m but I know diablos do funny things over 925-950 fps.

So on co2 beofore the shroud I was amazed at the accuracy and knock down power this thing had. 700 fps was 3 mil dots low at 10m 3 high at around 30 and damn near smack on at 50. I honestly couldn’t believe the accuracy at 50. Shooting simi supported I was putting pellets in top of each other. I had to douplem check the range multiple times to make shure I was really shooting at 50! I can’t wait to get out to the range at put some on paper at 100!

Well as many have stated ergonomics were leaving something to be desired… A quick wrap of camo form tape around the pistol grip made it large enough took off some of the sharpness I also wrapped my co2 tank and it was a great improvement kept the cold metal off the face and made it just slightly tacky enough to stay in place when shouldered. Not to me too mention it covered all the writing on the tank so it all black and helps it look better in my opinion. Oh another great benifit was it keeps my pellet holder from sliding all around cattywompus!

I had a TSS probably 10- 12 years ago and wow what an improvement from back then! My old lady likes the new condor so much I am thinking of get finger her one! Along with an extra .25 barrel for mine and probably a talon P for me too since the overall length is a bit longer than I wanted initially.

Today’s order was a Maddog ultima short right hand stock! And 2000 more Jsb’s hopefully they will keep me going for a few weeks! Other than the overall length with the shroud I couldn’t be happier with this new set up! Tha k you all for the great info on the forum it’s truly been my pleasure!
