Q:

ALl SamYang909/909S’s will MISFIRE (edited to include video)

PyranidAir really should have made this info a bit more obvious. I was looking for it, and had to e-mail someone for directions.

The replacement sear has the same damn problem.

This video shows a 909S with the replacement sear installed.

Does the dragon claw and/or recluse have this issue as well.

so did they get this fixed was thinking about buyin one of these guns in 45 cal.

I THINK they fixed it.

Check the Yellow classifieds for the tuned 909S that is for sale. 320fpe to your door.

YA i have known about this for years , i went in and greased up the seer to make it smoother trigger pull , well it made the gun go off real easy just by bumping it a bit , so i cleaned it all out and it was way better , but still i will never cock the gun until i am ready to fire it for this reason .

Sam Yang should send us all the part that will fix this free of CHARGE !

Looks like SamYang has started using the new sear design created by some concerned US airgunners. Good deal.

Bad news folks.

ALL OF THE 909 GUNS HAVE THE MISFIRE DESIGN DEFECT; 2tube guns included.

The new replacement sear that is being offered to fix the problem, DOESN”T DO SHIT TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

I just watched a video demonstrating the “strum” test. It took some doing, but upon strumming with a good bit of rearward pressure my beloved 909 DID INDEED MISFIRE WITH THE SAFETY ON.

The safety blocks only the trigger. It does NOT block the sear.

Pisses me off royally.

Mandatory de-cocking before getting up from my stand from here on out.

Someone that actually gives a damn about the results (and our lives), is working on a sear that fixes the problem, and says he has it fixed but ONLY if the safety is on.
