allen screws stripped ?
Hi,
One of the four allen screws are stripped that hold the barrel in place on my Condor. Is there a way I can fix this myself? Its not actually the threads on the allen screw but the threads in the shroud. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Jim

Drill, tap and use a helicoil insert to restore original grub screw threads?
Or……………
Drill. retap,and loctite a plug screw into the original stripped grub screw hole!
Drill and tap a new grub screw hole at a different location, into the shroud?
Is the frame stripped or is the shroud stripped..?

Glue a tool/stick something to the screw and turn it out while pulling. Re-tap the hole for the next size up hex screw.

Its one of the 2 on the shroud. Thanks for the help. Jim
