allways use shooting glasses
was shooting into my 22lr trap, with SS .22 at 32 fpe with kodiaks….the trap has a phonebook in it to make it quiet and to catch the pellets which works real well for the most….distance 10 yards
but somehow a pellet escaped ! flew back hit me right on my eyebrow….cut a line, and made blood come out the pores of the skin…this picture was after 30 minutes of ice on it….and bleedign had stopped….it hurt like a mofo when it hit….but even more today the day after ! plus its swollen, and even more visible…
had it hit me in the eye im sure i would have lost it ! i wear glasses so that would have caught it….

sore eyebrow is all, but imagine if that had been .25 rapid at 55 fpe or the ruger with 100 fpe and 40 grain bullet ….might have been a different story then

I actually do have a Pink Bunny suit that my daughter had made for me last year for Halloween…complete with the feet things. I look like a pink nightmare in it. 😆 😆 😆

I think the richochet hazard with these traps came up a few weeks ago too.
