Altaros regulator – 65 shot, shot string!
Holy smokes, this shot string is unreal on a Condor .25 w/ an “Altaros” regulator. Me likey! see it here: http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=28996
I have no idea what I am doing in this area, but I would like to benefit from a Altaros Reg, and increase the shot count and reduce the spread on my Talondor (Talon SS frame, .25 cal, hi-flo tank, TT adjustable top hat, and TT 95 gram condor hammer).
Here is the link to view the Altaros Reg mentioned in forum thread provided above http://www.altaros.cz/regulators/gunpower-airforce-condore/
My question is… is this regulator mod easily accomplished, and worth the time and effort? I have not found extensive information on this mod being done, so I am a little hesitant since my astute colleagues on this forum having not jumped all over this. I also don’t see where Tony offers any custom regulator work on his list of services, and this makes me a little leary too (If he doesn’t offer it, then why would I want it?)
Would enjoy seeing a constructive thread on pro’s, con’s, and problems encountered if one is to pursue a regulator on an Airforce gun. Thank you.
