Q:

aluminum breech

Started on a few aluminum breeches last night/this evening.

Thanks to YN for posting the idea of making an o-ring groove cutter from an old allen wrench (weather it was your idea or not I don’t care) you are the one I remember posting the guidance and it worked like a charm.

All that’s left is epoxying the orings for the hammer slap mod, tapping the hole for the cocking knob, and polishing.

Thats a lot of breech’s – I hate making them, that o-ring groove and it was pre mill the last time I made one so I’d cut the sear groove by hand which is annoying to say the least when you test it, and it isn’t quite big enough… and then all of a sudden you’ve broken through into the o-ring groove 😥

And I’m more than happy to take full credit for the Allen wrench !….
