Q:

Am I missing something?

Looks and sounds to me like a Marauder in a SWAT suit. Unless you need the 27 feet of rail to mount everything from lights to “bells and whistles” on, why not just put a tactical stock on your Marauder. Especially if you own a .25!
Just the opinion of the proud new owner of a TERYX stock! 😀

exactly… plus the fact that as of right now, the first batches of armadas- I think- are going to be .22… other calibers to follow. I think crosman should have just offered the stock as a retro fit kit, if at all.

How about the $500 price difference between standard marauder and armada. No thanks.

Amen my friend! Armada just looks too bulky for me!

I’ve been reading about the Armada on more than a few websites and forums, and pretty much everyone is saying the same thing: Crosman is just trying to appeal to a newer/fresher market; a younger market. EVERYONE can relate to a AR platform… I agree, a TERYX build is better, it’s not plastic, and you can set it up however you want to… I love my TERYX!! But, as I’ve said before (not sure where), If someone is really THAT inclined to have a AR looking airgun, I’m sure it’s all just bolt on. They can wait the year and either buy the Armada, or buy the parts to convert a Mrod to an Armada. I’ll stick with the TERYX though.
