The 460 is a waste of precious time. Bad firing cycle, breech seals go out like crazy etc. But, when detuned they are butter smooth guns that are easy to cock and sweet to shoot. If you don’t want to mess around, get a 46. They are very, very good guns for the $

Yes, sir… thats a Tyrolean stock. Fits the face quite nicely. Was a bitch to sand and finish though.

The TX200 is renowned for being one of the smoothest out of the box shooters you can find. Good news, too, is that they are ultra easy to work on should you wish to put an aftermarket spring/guide in them.

You really cannot go wrong with a TX200 or an HW97. Camps are divided on which one is better… personally, it’s a toss up. I have the HC or Hunters Carbine version of the TX and I dont think I give up anything to the full legnth version. Velocity is around 890fps in .177 and accuracy is stellar out to 50 yards.

I dont have any direct experience with the 460, but a friend who’s opinion I very much trust describes them as having a “foul firing cycle” so thats good enough for me to disregard one.

Thats a Jim Macarri stock that I picked up before he stopped making stocks to order. I did a bit of a stippling job on it while I was finishing it. It’s a little heavy for the 34, I think… but does look good. I just need to get a better trigger guard on that thing!
