LOL, they live out in a very rural area. Those lucky SoBs get to do whatever they want pretty much. Him being a Sheriff’s deputy doesnt hurt things either.
That’s a serious party downer. On the upside, the neighbors probably don’t complain about the airguns anymore!
I know a friend of a friend who is hard into cannons. Not the civil war type stuff but the WWII and up stuff. He has bought and sold at least 6 of them now and every time he gets a new one its a bigger caliber. I think his current one cost him in the 30 to 40k neighborhood. Shells for these things are crazy expensive as well but its all the guy thinks about.
About two cannons ago he had it parked out in front of some guys house and they were gonna fire it off at midnight for the new years eve party. They did, it was awesome, so were all the front windows of the house blowing out from the backblast/shockwave ).
