Q:

Another Bullet Proof Bauer Bites The Dust

I hear of them having problems locally but folks seem afraid to post about them on the forums – until this guy did. My paintball buddy (trashed a Bauer Jr II and went to another brand) says they are very expensive to fix when they break out of warranty and they do seem to break a lot more than we are led to believe.

Did what seemed to be the best suggestion and found an immaculate used Bauer
Junior II. Wow it filled fast and I was happy until it made a horrible noise
while filling a tank. The shop says it broke the third stage piston and will
need it replaced and a new cylinder. It’s been over a month waiting for them
to get it done. I had topped off 5 tanks so I’m good for a little longer but
want my home source back. They spoil you fast for convenience.

That really sucks Bauer has or seems to have a good reputation with the divers,,,
Maybe the key word is used, Just do not know the true history of it…
