I have about 2500 17 WSMs for my next trip. They are readily available now. I would like a better gun than the Savage. The Volquartsen semi-auto is tempting but a bit pricey. Like what the Edguns used to be. 😛

I am not sure if the new Ruger has been debugged enough (accuracy wise and reviews say a bad trigger compared to the Savage)

This year was the 1st time we took our CZs in 17 HMR. I shot 1500 rounds out of it. That little bullet really lifts them off the ground!
Very nice. I did some of my best shooting out of vehicles as I get a lot closer. I have a lot of old video from a Honda Accord and a buddy’s Jeep Grand Cherokee we drove around the dog towns on Rosebud. lol
